What's included?

Our warranties give you:

  • Excellent protection from unexpected repair bills
  • Helpful support whenever you need us
  • Access to our UK approved garage network
  • A £75 recovery contribution on valid claims
  • Up to £50 per day towards car hire on repairs over 8 hours, up to a maximum of 7 days

CLAIMS PROCESS

How to make a claim

Make a claim

Once you have completed the 3 steps...

To discuss a repair or submit a warranty claim, please call us on 0800 060 8613, email us or send us a message using the form below. Some of our plans include diagnosis costs so if the fault is a covered item, we’ll settle the diagnosis costs as part of the claim – your claims advisor will confirm whether diagnosis is included under your plan.

What to do once repairs are complete

If the repair was carried out by one of our approved garages, you don’t need to do anything as we’ll settle the claim with them directly.

If it was carried out by your own garage and we’re either reimbursing them or yourself, we’ll need a copy of the repair invoice along with any service invoices or other documents we’ve requested. Please clearly mark the repair code and state who is to be paid. Payments will usually be processed and paid the same working day upon receipt of all documents

Important

Should you instruct the garage to commence work without our authorisation, you do so in the knowledge that your claim may be declined due to denying us the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and determine the cause of failure.

The garage will only be able to carry out the repairs once you have authorised them to do so.

You are responsible for any excess parts and labour charges, plus any repairs which aren’t covered under your plan.

GAP INSURANCE

Click for more information

What is GAP Insurance?

If your vehicle is stolen or written off, your motor insurer is likely to only pay out the current market value of the vehicle at that time – not what you originally paid. In many cases drivers are left with a significant shortfall, often running into thousands of pounds.

This combined Return to Invoice & Financial Shortfall GAP Insurance covers the difference between the insurer’s payout and the greater of the original purchase price of the vehicle or the amount outstanding under your finance agreement (if applicable).

What's included?

This insurance is available for vehicles up to 12 years old and 120,000 miles at the cover start date.

• £500 insurance excess cover
• All factory fitted options
• Up to £2,000 dealer fitted accessories
• Available for 24, 36 and 48 month terms
• Cover for all cars and LCVs up to 3.5 tonnes
• Online claims portal
• Cover provided by an A-rated insurer

How does it work?

If you bought outright:

As your vehicle depreciates over time, GAP Insurance pays the difference between the purchase price and motor insurance settlement, enabling you to buy the same or an equivalent model at the same value. The payout is subject to your policy’s maximum claim limit.

If you bought on finance:

If you bought your vehicle on finance, your GAP Insurance pays off any outstanding finance owed at the time of loss if this amount is greater than the purchase price. The payout you receive from us is subject to your policy’s maximum claim limit.

GAP CLAIMS PROCESS

How to make a claim

Making a claim under your GAP Insurance couldn’t be easier. Just follow these three steps.

GAP FAQs

K
L
How do I make a claim under my GAP Insurance?

Firstly, please call us on 0800 060 8613 or email customercare@warrantyprofessionals.co.uk. We will initiate the GAP claim and guide you through the claims process.

K
L
How soon can I claim?

You should inform us as soon as you have informed your motor insurer. You must not accept any offers from your insurer before contacting us, otherwise your GAP insurance cover may be invalidated.

K
L
What info do you need to process my claim?

We will need your motor insurance certificate and a copy of your finance agreement (if applicable). If there are any police reports, we’ll need those too

K
L
How do I take out GAP Insurance cover?

To be offered a GAP policy you’ll need to purchase a used car or LCV from one of our approved dealerships.

K
L
Do you cover being hit by an uninsured driver?

Yes, providing you have fully comprehensive motor insurance.

K
L
How do I cancel my GAP insurance?

Cancelling within 30 days

If you wish to cancel your policy within 30 days of the cover starting or the date you receive the policy terms (whichever is later), you must contact the selling dealer to arrange this. Providing no claims have been made within that time, you will receive a full refund of premium paid.

Cancelling after 30 days

If you cancel after thirty 30 days and providing you haven’t made a claim, you will be entitled to a pro rata refund, based on the number of fully unexpired remaining months minus a £35 administration fee. You must contact us to cancel by emailing customercare@warrantyprofessionals.co.uk, calling us on 0800 060 8613 or by writing to us.

A pro rata refund example is as follows:

  • 36 month policy term
  • Your premium: £360
  • You cancel in month 18, leaving 18 full months remaining
  • Pro rata refund of £180 less £35 administration fee
  • Refund due to you: £145
